Update on ground conditions

Update Monday 30 May 2022

The ground remains wet, and the Course will be closed on Monday 30 May. 

We are aiming to reopen on Tuesday 31 May.

Ground conditions at The Vale Golf Course have been extremely wet following recent heavy rain.

Please take care moving around the course, as some areas may still be quite soft underfoot. Bunkers are also currently out of play.

We're hopeful that the ground will continue to dry out over coming days, but it's possible that the course may close or open again at short notice, depending on weather conditions.
