This hole does not present too many problems. It has a bunker on the left of the green and trees are down each side of the fairway.
The green can prove difficult due to pin placement. Needs a little respect.

Old Bulli Colliery 1861 - 1988
The Bulli and Bellambi Coal Co drove a tunnel at the site of the old Bulli Mine in 1861. Coal from the mine was shipped to Ballarat via Bellambi in 1862, and 790 tons of coal were shipped to Shanghai, China, in 1863 on the Ironside.
On 23 March 1887 a methane gas explosion at the mine killed 81 men and boys.
In 1936, the mine was purchased by AIS and the pit head was moved to the entrance of a long drift where 25 ton locomotives could be used.
Production stopped on 15 May 1987, and the portals were sealed in 1988.
Bulli Mine is famous for the ‘battle of the black legs’. In January 1887, during a six month strike for better wages and conditions, the miners and their family members prevented ‘scab labour’ working the mine.
The families played a significant role in the 'scab labour' protest. At Bulli railway station they created a loud and threatening atmosphere for the strike breakers, by banging tin kettles and pots together. Their spontaneous action was successful, and most of the ‘scabs’ joined the train back to Sydney.
